| made a post about this a few months ago, but we are entered into the 24 of lemons race in October at Altamont Motorsports Park ([ http://24hoursoflemons.com/ ]) The rules are fairly simple, car must be under $500 and then you have to make it safe, rollcage, harness, must wear a firesuit, have 4-6 drivers, etc, and most importantly, make it the full 24 hours.  We are getting the rollcage installed this weekend. After that we need to set up the suspension and buy better pads. There are 5 of us, total cost for everything is about $600/person. Should be a blast, will make another update post before the race, and then a post after to let ya'lls know how it was
